What an HVAC technician does in the UAE, and how the trade is graded
An HVAC technician in the UAE installs and maintains the air conditioning that every building here depends on: split and packaged units, fan coil units, air handling units, VRF systems, chilled-water networks and the ductwork that carries the air. Installation technicians work to the MEP drawings on new buildings; duct technicians fabricate and install ducting and insulation; maintenance technicians on facilities contracts service, fault-find and repair across towers, malls, communities and plants, on rosters that tighten from May to September.
The trade is graded by what a technician can install, commission and fix unsupervised. A skilled technician reads the drawing, installs and connects to a standard, charges and commissions, and diagnoses faults; an assistant technician installs and services under direction; an HVAC helper carries, fixes brackets and cleans. Refrigerant handling, brazing and electrical isolation are checked in the test because they are where an untested technician does damage.
tamdeed keeps HVAC technicians on the bench by specialism and grade, tests each skilled technician before they are confirmed to a client, and supplies the assistants, helpers and the supervisor an installation team or a maintenance contract needs. Every technician is employed on a MOHRE-registered contract, sponsored and insured by tamdeed, paid through WPS, and checked in at your site with geofenced attendance.
Other trades we supply
Every trade page describes the same employment and the same charge sheet; only the work changes.

How an HVAC technician rate is built
An HVAC technician's monthly rate is the wage for the specialism and grade plus the real costs of employing the worker, plus administration. Skilled technicians sit on one of the higher wage lines in site trades; assistants and helpers on lower ones; the rest of the rate is the same set of lines for every worker.
Maintenance contracts are usually monthly supply; installation programmes are priced by phase. Government fees change from time to time and are passed through at cost.
Illustrative structure, not a tariff. Live pricing applies to one to ten workers; larger crews receive a custom charge sheet built from the same lines, before you commit.

Questions, answered plainly
What is HVAC technician manpower supply?
The supply of HVAC technicians employed and sponsored by a licensed supplier and deployed to a client's site or contract at an agreed rate, usually as a team with assistants and helpers. tamdeed tests every skilled technician, employs them on registered contracts, pays through WPS and bills from a geofenced attendance record.
Do you supply maintenance technicians for the summer peak?
Yes. Maintenance technicians are supplied to facilities companies and building owners on monthly supply, with headcount that can rise for May to September and fall after, requested in the portal and priced from the same charge sheet.
How do you test an HVAC technician?
With a practical test before the technician is confirmed to you: installation and brazing, refrigerant handling, electrical isolation and commissioning for installation technicians; fabrication and installation to drawing for duct technicians; diagnosis and repair on a live unit for maintenance technicians.
Do you supply duct fabricators and installers?
Yes. Duct fabricators for the workshop and installers and insulators for the site are supplied as a team with a supervisor, on the same terms as the other specialisms.
Can you supply a whole installation team?
Yes: skilled technicians, assistant technicians, helpers and a supervisor, sized to the package or the floor cycle, each grade on its own wage line.
Who is the legal employer?
tamdeed. HVAC technicians are employed on MOHRE-registered contracts, sponsored on residence visas and paid through WPS by tamdeed. They report to your site for the work.
How fast can technicians mobilise?
Technicians already on the bench and in the UAE can be on site within days of an approved charge sheet. Specialisms that need recruiting, or technicians coming from abroad on new visas, take longer because the visa process sets the pace.
What does an HVAC technician cost per month in the UAE?
It depends on the specialism, the grade, the site, the contract length and the headcount. tamdeed itemises the wage, government fees at cost, insurance, gratuity and leave accrual, PPE, tools and transport where agreed, and its own administration line.
