What a staffing agency in Dubai does for an employer

A staffing agency in Dubai finds, employs or places people for companies. The word covers four different services, and the difference is who employs the person and for how long: supplied crews that the agency employs and deploys at a monthly rate; temporary and contract staff the agency employs for days, weeks or a fixed term; outsourced employment, where the agency employs staff you already have or want, on its licence, without a term; and permanent recruitment, where the agency finds a candidate you employ on your own licence for a placement fee.

Most agencies do one or two of these and call it staffing. The mistake buyers make is to ask for a staffing agency when they need a specific shape: a contractor asking for recruitment when it needs supply, a bank asking for supply when it needs outsourced employment, a start-up asking for outsourcing when it needs a PEO. The pages below describe each shape so you can ask for the right one, and the comparison table settles it in four rows.

tamdeed does all four on one platform, for both collars. Where tamdeed employs the person, the employment is real: a MOHRE-registered contract, a residence visa sponsored by tamdeed, medical insurance, WPS wages and end-of-service carried by tamdeed, with attendance and documents in your portal. Where you employ the person, recruitment is priced on the platform with the placement fee agreed in advance. Candidates are never charged a fee for any of it.

How each shape is priced

Where tamdeed employs the person, the charge is the wage through WPS plus the real costs of employment plus tamdeed's line, per worker per month or per hour, itemised on a charge sheet. Where you employ the person, recruitment is priced on the platform per open role, with the placement fee agreed separately and in advance.

Live pricing applies to one to ten; larger requirements receive a custom charge sheet from the same lines. Government fees are always passed through at cost.

Questions, answered plainly

Is tamdeed a staffing agency or a manpower supply company?

Both, and the difference is the shape you buy. tamdeed supplies crews it employs, places temporary and contract staff it employs, outsources employment for staff you bring, and recruits permanent hires for your licence, all on one platform. This page explains which shape fits which situation.

I am looking for a job. Can you place me?

tamdeed employs and places people for its clients and never charges a candidate a fee. The candidates page explains how to apply and what happens next; please use it rather than the employer form on this page.

What is the difference between a staffing agency and a recruitment agency in Dubai?

A recruitment agency finds a candidate you employ on your own licence for a placement fee. A staffing agency also employs people itself and supplies or places them with you for a rate. tamdeed does both, with the placement fee for recruitment agreed in advance.

Who employs the staff you send?

For supply, temporary, contract and outsourced staff, tamdeed does: MOHRE-registered contracts, residence visas, WPS wages, insurance and gratuity all carried by tamdeed. For recruitment, you do, on your own licence.

Do you place white-collar as well as blue-collar staff?

Yes. Sales agents, customer service, administrators and accounts assistants are placed on the same terms as helpers, trades, drivers and cleaning staff.

How fast can staff start?

Workers already on the bench and in the UAE can start within days of an approved charge sheet. Roles that need recruiting, or people coming from abroad on new visas, take longer because the visa process sets the pace.

What does a staffing agency cost in Dubai?

It depends on the shape. Supplied, temporary, contract and outsourced staff are charged per worker per month or per hour on an itemised charge sheet; recruitment is charged per open role on the platform with a placement fee agreed in advance. The pricing pages carry the published prices.

Do you charge candidates?

Never. Charging a worker a recruitment fee is unlawful in the UAE and tamdeed does not do it in any shape of engagement.

Tell us the roles and the situation
